I've been shopping at this store since it opened. The people make this store special and make me feel like a good neighbor. They support our community and offer amazing savings every week. They also have senior discounts two days a week which is really nice! I hate seeing one bad incident posted without considering the good our small town store does for its community. Overall, I get good groceries at a good price and deal with good people! Thank you all
I just want to say what a wonderful employee Raymond is.. His first day and he was the most helpful and best employee I have meet at brookshires
I called a week before my birthday to order a birthday cake... for myself. I know lame right? Well it's what I do. When I called it was a week prior, the lady that answered the phone said you can call all the way a day in advance. Great news! I went ahead and ordered my cake that day. So then the Friday I needed the cake, I called to insure it was ready before driving up. They had no record of the cake being ordered, no cake for me at all. So I decided to just go grab a cake from another store. They tried to get me one quick but I was upset about it and declined. They also asked if I was sure I got the right Brookshire's... I knew I had because I looked it up before placing the order. I out of doubt called the other Brookshire's to make sure I didn't make a mistake. No record of the cake at either location in seven points or Athens. So later that night at 7pm!!! Brookshire's calls me and asks if I'm going to come pick up the cake I ordered??? I was so upset! Are you serious?!?!? So now all of a sudden you have the cake that was not there?!?!? I drove up there, waiting in front of the bakery, no one was around so O went to customer service and asked for assistance. The manager came out from the back along with three other staff members. I was a little worried ...why did they need that many employees... as if they know I might have a "Karen" moment. I explained the whole situation and Billy gave me a great deal on the cake. Thank you Brookshire's for trying to do the right thing in a messed up situation. Thank you Billy for the help.
